1. Booking: Please telephone in the first instance to confirm
dates, and then return the enclosed booking form with your
deposit. The signing of the booking form confirms acceptance of
the terms and conditions set out below and shall be binding on
the persons intending to occupy the premises whether or not such
persons have signed the booking form.
2. Reservation Deposit and Payment of Balance: The reservation
deposit £100 per week is payable with the completed booking
form. The full balance to be paid at least 10 weeks before
departure. No reminders will be sent. If the balance remains
unpaid within 8 weeks of departure we reserve the right to
cancel your booking.
3. Security Deposit: In addition to the rental charge, a
security deposit of £100 for letting of up to 2 weeks (plus £50
for each additional week or part thereof) is payable to cover
breakage or damage to the premises and/or contents and excessive
cleaning costs, other than those normally incurred in connection
with the occupation of the premises. You will be advised on the
deposit receipt whether this will be payable to The Company and
held here in the UK or whether it will be payable locally at the
Management Company in Florida at registration check in. The
deposit is refundable as soon as it is confirmed that the
property has been left in a satisfactory condition, within a
time limit not exceeding 6 weeks following date of return.
4. Cancellations: (a) If the balance of the sum due as shown on
the booking form remains unpaid 10 weeks prior to the date of
departure we reserve the right to cancel the booking and, in the
event, the deposit will be forfeit (b) If you cancel after the
booking is confirmed, the deposit will be forfeit (c) If you
cancel within 6 weeks of the date of departure the full rental
will be due and forfeit. (d) The person who signed the booking
form or his/her representative must confirm all cancellations in
writing.
5. Insurance: Travel and cancellation insurance is strongly
advised. If proof of payment is necessary the company will
gladly provide the required information in support of your
claim.
6. Amendment: There is no charge for amending a confirmation
booking providing the accommodation is available for the amended
dates.
7. Documentation: All passports, visas and health certificate
requirements are the client’s responsibility. At the present
time travellers to the U.S must hold a full 10-year passport,
valid for a full 6 months beyond the return date at the time of
departure. It is your responsibility to ensure that all
documentation conforms to current requirements and regulations
for travel to the USA. The company cannot accept responsibility
for any delays or expenses incurred through any irregularity in
such documents.
8. Breakage and Damage: The villa will be checked immediately
after departure of guests. Should any breakage or damage occur
during your stay you must notify the Management Company before
leaving the USA. Should the cost of repair or replacement be
your responsibility the Management Company will, if necessary
advise both you and The Company in such documents.
9. Parents must supervise children at all times, particularly in
the pool area, and when access the villa via an uncarpeted area.
Glassware on the poolside is prohibited. It is an unseen danger
to you and others. No responsibility/liability will be accepted
for any accident, injury or damage sustained during tenancy,
regardless of howsoever it may have occurred.
10. Force Majure: We can not and do not accept responsibility
for any cancellation, alteration or amendment to your booking
brought about by way, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute,
natural and nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions,
technical problems, closure or congestion of airports,
cancellations or changes of schedules by airlines and similar
events beyond our control.
11. Smoking: If you smoke we ask that you restrict this to the
outside deck and refrain from smoking in the villa.
12. Entry into the villa: This will be after 4pm by combination
lock or key collection. You will receive the code or key
collection instructions with your final documents. The property
must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Early arrival
or late departure must be made by prior arrangement only.
13. During your stay: Whenever you leave the property, you are
responsible for ensuring its security by closing and locking all
windows and doors.
14. Complaints: Any complaints relating to the accommodation
must be made in writing to the local Management Company within
24 hours of any major problem arising (the address and telephone
number will be attached to your final documents) It is your
responsibility to ensure that the Management Company informs The
Company of any complaint, either by telephone or by facsimile
message at the time. If this procedure is not followed claims
will not be considered. Failure to do so will be regarded as a
breach of contract between you and The Company.
15. Private Ownership: It is unlikely that we will have to make
changes to your holiday booking details but arrangements are
often made many months in advance and changes sometimes become
necessary. Villas are privately owned and we therefore, in
unforeseen circumstances, reserve the right to change your villa
address. You can rest assured that should this become necessary
you would be allocated a villa offering the same or upgraded
facilities; in as close a proximity to your original booking as
is possible.
16. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions: By placing a reservation
with us you are deemed to have accepted our terms and
conditions.
